Some dogs come to us with minor issues that are up to the foster to work to correct (such as dog reactivity, fearfulness, house/crate training, etc). It can also take some time for a shelter dog to decompress before you can introduce it to other dogs in the home. We are also very full and dogs are only taken out of the foster home in extreme circumstances. Dogs don't always get adopted quickly and you may have a dog for a very long time. How long are you willing to spend working with a dog who may have issues?*
