Hi, I’m Catfish Collins! Don't let the name fool you because I'm even cuter in person! I am 9 weeks old and only 11 pounds -- the vet thinks I might be chihuahua-terrier mix. Terriers come in many sizes, so it will be a surprise to see what I will look like and how big I’ll be once I grow up. While I do well with playing with dogs of all sizes, I am more timid than my brother Bootsy. I'll play with the big dogs for a while, but would rather hang out with people. I'm content to lounge on your lap, or in the yard, or on the couch...really anywhere is a good place to lounge! In addition to living with 4 big dogs, I also live with big, fluffy cat. He would make a good pillow and an even better lounging partner, but I am very respectful and give him his personal space. My brother and I sleep all the way through the night in my puppy pen and I do a really good job of using puppy pads when I’m in there. I sometimes get too distracted when I’m playing outside my pen but my foster mom and dad don’t get mad at me because I’m still a baby. For some unknown reason they’ve started taking me outside to go the bathroom. What am I, some kind of animal? Regardless, I do my best to appease them. If you insist on making me go outside too, I promise to be a good boy and will continue to work on going outside before I come home to you!
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
