Meet Cassiterite: Everyone call me Cassie though.  I have this cool, funky name that my foster momma gave me which is actually a type of beautiful, shiny, black crystal. She told me my gorgeous coat reminded her of it! 

Now- let’s talk about me- you already know I am easy on the eyes, adorable pointy ear, we’ll of of them at least! I am a goofy, bouncy love bug that wrapped up into a German Shepherd and border collie like body! I am lengthy and stealthy, I love a good romp the yard with my foster sibs and I’ll take all the toys you can give! Being made from the two intelligent breeds that I am, I learn very quickly, I am eager to please and I need quite a bit of attention to keep my busy little mind, busy! 

I am about 5 months old and found myself at a southern, rural shelter with no family in sight- until this pretty great rescue snatched me up and gave me a place to crash. I’m learning house manners, manners around my doggie friends and I’m loving the human kids in my house. They like to play ball with me! So now, I just need my own place to call home!

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
