Hi - I’m Ope…but they call me Opal! My coat is so beautiful shade; sometimes called lilac. I’m a super sweet, one year old girl. I’m a medium-sized pup at 35 pounds and I melt in your arms if you pick me up. I love cuddling, meal times, treats, cuddling, playtime with my foster siblings, treats, walks, treats, and cuddling! I am content if we stay in and I’m thrilled if we go on adventures! I’m learning to mind my foster mom a little better while I’m on leash, but right now she says my first priority is to chill out on trying to get to critters or other pups. I understand the word chill, I just thought it was synonymous with the couch. I’m so extra super soft that people can’t help mention it every time they meet me…plus my eyes perfectly match my coat so I’ve been told i have star qualities! I have a gentle disposition with people and my foster siblings - I aim to please and when I get one-on-one training I catch on quickly. I don’t like when my people go out exploring (I think they’ve called it work) without me so I’m vocal for about ten minutes when I go in my crate, but then I settle in and relax. I am pretty much just the right amount of timid when I first meet a new dog and then just the right amount of engaging once they fall in love with me (which they all do). I’m young still so I’m learning commands but I learn quickly (and look good while doing it) and love the attention I get while training. I have tested into daycare with both large and small dogs. Check out my photos and let me know which one I should use for when I’m on the cover of Cutest Gem City Cuddlers magazine! She is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
