Hi, my name is Captain Jack, but most people just call me Jack. I am a wise older gentleman at about 10-11 years old (but don’t tell the vet! I charmed him with my good looks and convinced him I was only 9!) and I’m about 75 lbs. Don’t let my age and size deceive you-I am actually a big BABY! My foster family says I am the most gentle dog they’ve met and I LOVE belly rubs!
My foster dog sisters are a senior and middle aged ladies and I get along with them both great. I previously lived with a cat in my younger days, but it’s been a while. My foster family says they are going to “cat test” me to see if I still enjoy their company.
I know basic commands, am fully potty trained (and don’t have accidents, even though I’m an older fella), I love every person I meet, am unbothered by and uninterested in the family guinea pig, and I listen very well. I also have the most adorable under-bite, according to my foster parents.
What more could you want? I’m handsome, sweet, well-behaved, smart, and get along with everyone. I’m up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations and am already microchipped! I don’t mean to brag, but I’m kind of the perfect dog and would love to be your best friend! Sound good? Then apply to adopt me today! I’d love to meet you and give you lots of kisses! Adoption fee is $200.
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
