Hi, there! My name is Jelly and they say I am a one year old boxer mix weighing around 55 pounds, but my foster mom just says I am 100% good boy. If you’re looking for a well behaved gentleman who loves everything about life, then I’m your pup. I do well on long car rides, love little kids and have made so many pet friends with other doggies (I typically just ignore cats since they aren’t so good at tug of war)! My foster mom says she can’t believe how well I do in my crate and that I’ve “never met a stranger”, whatever that means. I just know I love to be loved, pet and get treats. I do like to play with squeaky toys and zoom around with my foster sibling, but my favorite thing to do is cuddle! Whether its on your lap, by your side, or as little spoon – any cuddling is my favorite thing to do. Oh, and did I mention I’m potty trained!?
I have something called lymphedema, which means my back legs have a little swelling in them which causes them to jiggle. My foster mom says I am a ‘thicc’ boy and look like an 80s jazzercise model. All I know is that I don’t have to take any icky medicine pills for it, and exercise or walks makes the swelling go down. It definitely doesn’t slow me down as I enjoy daily zoomies with my foster sibling and have what the humans call “mad hops”. I have so much love to give and am just looking for a family to be forever mine.
