Meet Jake! He is a 9 year old dachshund who is the sweetest little snoring old man who wants to be by your side 24/7!  Content to sit on the couch with you and in your bed snuggled up at night. He may be an older dog, but he’s young at heart! He still does the occasional zoomies!! Like most senior dachshunds, stairs can be a challenge for Jake and he is slowly becoming hard of hearing. But most importantly, he can still sniff & see the treats just fine! He’s a sweet old gentleman who loves his snuggles!! He’s even great with cats & dogs! Apply today! Jake is part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If he is adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor his adoption fee and he will come with six months of heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $200. He is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. 

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
