Meet Jabba! This handsome fella came to us after he had been hit by a car. His front leg was irreparably damaged & he was covered in wounds and scabs. Our vet amputated his leg & his wounds have all healed. Despite being in terrible pain when he came to us Jabba was such a sweetheart. His foster had to lift him in and out of the car with the broken leg & he just leaned his head against hers & let her help him. It’s like he knew she was trying to help him get better. 
Now he’s feeling better & he’s still a 65 lb angel. He loves pets & snuggles and is happiest chilling on the couch or on a soft dog bed. We are sure that he was not a high energy dog before but he really is a total couch potato now. Jabba gets around on 3 legs but he moves pretty slow complete with bulldog snorts while he’s doing it. Jabba is good with cats. He likes dogs who respect his space. He is not a fan of being jumped on or banged into. 
He is never going to be a walker. He’s completely satisfied with a quick potty break outside & then back in to nap on his bed! Apply to adopt Jabba today!! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
