Daxton is a perfect gentleman. He excels in many areas - he is crate-trained, house-trained, and vocalizes when he needs to go out but is patient if you need a few minutes before letting him out. Daxton comes when called, behaves excellently in the car, and is well-behaved at the vet. He is cooperative when being handled by the vet and techs and takes medication with ease. When indoors, he spends most of his time lying by his dog mom or chilling in his crate. He enjoys the outdoors, where he loves lounging in the sun and playing with his dog sister. Daxton is also well-behaved around visitors.

He is currently taking Apoquel for his allergies. He is allergic to chicken and is being fed grain-free Salmon and Sweet Potato food from Costco, as well as tolerating the Purina Pro Plan salmon and rice. A suitable canned food for him is Pure Balance Beef and Vegetable brown rice stew from Walmart, and he is given 2 tsp. of pure pumpkin in his dry food. 

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
