Meet Victor. Victor came to us after the police called us asking for help for an injured dog. Victor had been living in a home with another large male dog. They got into a fight, the owner called the police for help and when the police arrived they found Victor dripping blood. Animal control was closed due to COVID and so the police called us and asked for help because Victor needed immediate medical attention. Victor’s owner was unable to keep him due to his medical needs and because she had the other dog so she surrendered him to the rescue. Victor spent the night at the emergency vet where the vet described him as having so many holes that he looked like a spaghetti strainer. Since then Victor has healed up nicely. He adores his foster family and is a total lap dog. He loves attention, treats and toys. Victor can be a bit fearful of new people and so he needs a little patience while he makes friends but once he does, plan on a snuggly lap dog. Victor was very dog friendly until he got beat up by the other dog. Since then he has been leery and would do best as the only dog or with a female dog with a long, slow introduction. We are calling him a pit mix but breed is a guess based on what he looks like.... -- he has a dogue de bordeax head on a pit bull sized body. He weighs about 60lbs and is around 2 years old. Victor has had it hard. He is long past due for his forever home. Is it you??? Apply to adopt Victor today. Victor’s adoption fee is $200. He is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
