Jameson is a black lab / pit mix who believes he's a loving house cat. He would prefer to be sitting on your lap and being petted at all times. He will briefly whine if you stop for even a few seconds. He was previously a stray, and he clearly had a rough life before coming to us. He has a number of small scars over his face and the rest of his body, as well as some chipped teeth. These, combined with gray hairs scattered throughout his coat, give him the air of a dignified old warrior coming in from the cold. He shows his gratitude by being incredibly loving and cuddly. He is great in the house & enjoys short walks, and will let you know he's done by walking up to a random neighbor's yard to lay down and take a nap. (This has generally happened after a mile) He gets particularly scared of cars, and will cower behind you whenever they pass. 
Jameson is wonderful with cats & dogs. He’s very shy & was terrified at the shelter. He hid in a closet to avoid going back to the main shelter  area. Jameson just wants a loving home and family. Apply to adopt him today!!  Jameson’s adoption fee is $175. He is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. 

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
