Hi! My name is Spock, and as you can tell from my pointy ears, I’m a German Shepherd mix. I joined the AAP family from a rural shelter in Kentucky, but I must have belonged to someone once upon a time because I’m potty trained and know basic commands like “sit”. My foster mom and I are working on “kennel”, “stay”, and “shake”, too! I love playing with my 18 pound canine foster sister and would do great being adopted into a house with other dogs - they’re my favorite!
I love to play and can occupy myself by chewing on my dog toys (BarkBox calls me a superchewer!). I’m also working on my heart-worm survivor badge, so I need lots of rest right now; which is great because my second favorite pastime is taking long naps on the cool floor, dog bed, or even on a lap! I love to take walks and I’m getting better every day at not getting too excited when I smell something fun. I think once I’m feeling 100% I’m going to love having someone throw me a ball outside!
As my namesake said: “I have been and always shall be your friend.” I hope you choose to meet me so we can be best friends forever! Spock’s adoption fee is $200. He is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention.
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
