Meet Georgia ( left) & Virgil ( right). Their story is a sad one and we are begging you to SHARE, SHARE, SHARE to help us help them find their true forever home.
So, Virgil got adopted from us as a puppy about 2 years ago. Last week we received a call from the microchip company telling us that Virgil was found. We called the dog warden who had him and were told that he was found running with another dog.... a female... Georgia. We contacted the family who adopted Virgil from us and were told that they had been missing for a week. Imagine our shock when the adopter was not happy to hear that they were safe. We were told that we could go pick them up. The adopter would not.
These two are such sweet dogs. They are ginormous (seriously they are huge) babies and are oh so sweet. Georgia is about 4 years old and Virgil is about 2. They epitomize American Bulldog in size and bull in the china shop manners!! They are wonderful with dogs and cats and are house and crate trained although Georgia would prefer to nap on the couch during the day instead of in a crate.
Virgil and Georgia (Georgie for short) are very bonded and must stay together. That makes finding a home for them much harder. Apply to adopt them today!! You would be lucky to have them!!
We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
