“It isn’t where you came from, it’s where you’re going that counts!” This Ella Fitzgerald is going where it matters, her FOREVER home!  Like her namesake she is also an amputee… after this poor pup was in a car accident she found her way to life saving surgery that left her without her left front leg. Unfortunately no one came to claim this pretty girl! She is so very sweet, and missing a leg does not slow her down!  Within minutes of meeting her fosters she launched herself right up into the back seat of a big truck! She is crate and house trained, and even can sit on command! Miss Ella is good with cats, kids, and other dogs...just no little ankle biters!

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
