Everyone meet Sonoma! She is around 5 months old and is a staffy mix. Sonoma had a slow start to life. She and her other siblings lived in an 8x8 pen outside with little human interaction. Although she was well fed, she was flea infested and terrified of new people. She has worked hard to face her fear of the indoors and strangers. She is now flea and worm free, has been microchipped, spayed, and recieved her shots. She has learned that the couch is a wonderful thing and a great way to bond with her human, so she needs a home that is pet- furniture friendly. She is still timid when meeting new people so someone who will socialize her and take her everywhere possible would be ideal. Sonoma LOVES being outside. She likes playing with the dogs at her foster home. She is interested in the cat, but too scared to approach. She spends 85% of her day asleep on the couch. She is crate trained and 95% house broke. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
