Who's that girl you ask? Why it's ME, Georgie! Georgie is just what the rescue folks call me. I go by Roo. I'm a lot of sass in a 40lb body. Now that the intros are out of the way, lets get to the nitty gritty. I'm a rough and tumble type of gal and I am not afraid to get dirty. I can be a tad bossy with other dogs, but that's because they don't always do what I want, how I want, when I want. My momma always said "if you want something done right, you gotta do it yerself." So, I would really rather be an only pet. Honestly, I'm all you'll ever need. I snuggle, I play, and I will diligently protect you from squirrels, chipmunks and other pesky wildlife. Even if they are just on tv, I will make sure you are aware they are there. I'm also gorgeous. I know it's not polite to brag, but my momma always said "if you got it, flaunt it" and boy do I got it! From my soft fur, to my soulful eyes, I am a darn good looking specimen. Now, I don't tell many people this, it's not good for my image you see. But, we're all friends here right? I like cats. There. I said it! Momma always said "the truth shall set you free" and dagnabit, I feel free now that I got that off my chest. They are just so fluffy and I like the way they purr. While we are being honest, I'm dog enough to admit that I even like birds. I know it's odd, but I'm a bird dog. Not the hunting kind! I LIKE birds. They sing so pretty and sometimes they even talk to me! And I talk back! I can tell them my name is Roo, Roo, Roo!!! So whatcha think? Ready to take me home yet?

Georgie's adoption fee is $175

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
