About Gigi

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Housetrained: Yes
I'm a brown and white sweetie with eyes the same color as my spots and just under two years old. I was found filthy and hanging around a gravel dump after having a litter of pups. I'm a sweet, loving, cuddle muffin who will lick you and snuggle you all the time if you'll let me, but I also love my bed. I love to chew my toys (love toys!) and play with the neighbor dogs. My snorts of happiness when I play make my foster mommy laugh, and that makes me happy. I'm housetrained and good with sit and am learning down. I'm good on a leash (I hate getting my feet tangled up) and I stick close by off a leash...unless I'm running to go play with my buddies, the neighbors. I love kiddos. I'm so submissive to humans, you can stick your hand in my mouth when I'm eating and I'm just happy you're touching me. I just want to be where the people are! I'm great in the car, and travel around with my foster mom a lot. Everywhere we go people always say how pretty I am! Some things still scare me, mostly men, and I slink to the ground, scared, but I'm getting better. She is heartworm tested, vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped Please fill out the adoption application at www.adoptapitrescue.org under the adoptables tab! Adoption fee: $175

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
